INGREDIENTS: SEA SALT, SUGAR, BLACK PEPPER, LEMON PEEL, ORANGE PEEL, MINCED GARLIC, DEHYDRATED ONION, CITRIC ACID, LEMON OIL, LEMON JUICE POWDER (MALTODEXTRIN, LEMON JUICE CONCENTRATE, AND LEMON OIL), ORANGE JUICE POWDER (MALTODEX- TRIN, ORANGE JUICE SOLIDS WITH ADDED ORANGE OIL), SUNFLOWER OIL.

Zesty Lemon-Garlic Grilled Chicken

Type: Main Dish
Use of Zest For Life: Incorporated into the marinade and as a topping.

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Zest for Life seasoning mix
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, Zest for Life seasoning, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, dried thyme, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Rub the marinade over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well-coated.
  3. Let the chicken marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  6. Once cooked, sprinkle more Zest for Life on top as a finishing touch to enhance the citrusy flavor.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
